Mission Statement

The International Computational Cognitive Modeling (ICCM) Society was founded in 2020, and is dedicated to promoting research on computational models of cognitive functions. By building and experimenting with models that simulate the brain at various levels of complexity, we aim to improve our understanding of human intelligence and provide insight and inspiration to advance the field of artificial intelligence. The ICCM Society aims to bring together and support researchers across a range of disciplines, from psychology to computer science to neuroscience. The ICCM conference, an annual event for more than 25 years, is one of the premier venues for sharing and publishing research in cognitive modeling, and the society promotes awards and recognition in an effort to bring this exciting research to a broader audience.
